Lessa Siegele

Lessa Siegele from Adelaide SA Life Member of Quilters Guild of South Australia Inc. Has taught various craft classes at TAFE Colleges, Mitcham Village Art and Craft Association and many quilt groups around Australia. Patchwork and Quilting now dominate her activities. She teaches workshops for the Quilters Guild in Adelaide and numerous country centres as well as travelling interstate and overseas to conduct workshops.

Awarded OAM (Order of Australia Medal) in Queens Birthday honours in June 2002 for services to the art of quiltmaking as a teacher and to the community through fundraising. Presented with the Rajah Award in Melbourne 2007 for Outstanding Contribution to Australian Quilting
